Best live al***...?

To run alongside the 'worst song' thread I would like to start a 'best live album' thread. I always find a good live recording so much better than one made in the studio.

My vote would be for Humble Pie 'Rockin' The Fillmore'.

IMHO I don't think rock music gets much better than this. I was fortunate to catch them in the UK after they recorded this one. They played the same set.... awesome. I also saw Deep Purple soon after they recorded Made In Japan, same set etc: but not such a good album as the 'Pie' IMO.

We have been here before! Check out the Live CDs thread, there are some really good recommendations.

Yeah!! Rockin' the filmore, I love that album, glad to know someone else has it.

I also like Zappa in New York.
