Wall Socket choices
Posted by: nkp on 27 June 2009
Hi all,
Which wall socket is recommended for naim system in your view?? either US or UK type.
Im now using Oyaide SWO-GX ULTIMO and seeking for better option.
Is there any chance to improve by using MK 13A??
and use it with original MK plug from the lead.

Always good to welcome a qualified electrician to the forum.
Probably better if you keep the details to yourself as less trained people could easily kill themselves.

And Adam will be too busy to moderate for a couple of mins.
He's too busy compiling a list of those who should try these upgrades...

Whenever the phrase - "copper tube buried somewhere in my garden" occurs without being closely followed by "RCD" I worry about the safety of all involved...
It's a bit like "hairdryer" and "bathtub".

I worry more about the emergency services who have to put the bugger out.

I wouldn't worry, unless you are a paramedic in his area.

I wouldn't worry, unless you provide insurance in his area.
