Hicap SNAIC

I've got some surplus SNAICs, which one belongs to the Hicap the 4/4 or the 5/5 pin?

If your configuration goes like this -> Pre/Hi/Pow then the 5/5 goes from the pre to hicap (socket 4) and the 4/4 goes from the hicap (socket 3) to the amp.

Thanks Naimed, which would you use if you didnt have the Hicap, a 4/4 or 5/5

Hi Bosh,

Without the Hicap, the 4/4 goes from the amp(assuming 140, 150, 180) to pre. The 5/5 is provided with the Hicap and the 4/4 provided with the NAP.

Bosh, this is not a choice thing, if there is no hicap connected you need to use the four pin, with the five pin blanking plug in the back of the pre amp.

regards.
