Blimey, I thought he wasn't very well.

I was a massive Stills fan in the 70s, I actually thought he was better than the over-rated Young at the time (which he may well have been).

Sadly, where his colleagues have continued to output quality product (Chrome Dreams II, Crosby/Nash etc), the last Stills effort was a rather feeble piece of work.

He was diagnosed with prostate cancer a while ago but must be confident that he'll be ok in October.

I still rate the double Mannassas album as one of the musical high spots of the early 70s. We have bought tickets for the Empire show based largely on my appreciation of his earlier work in Buffalo Springfield, CS & N(&Y for Deja Vu) and Mannassas, and because who knows how often we shall get to see any of these guys as time marches on.
