If I want to have a speaker with the same specs as isobarik , or better what are the right choice if I go the naim way.

there are very few (if any) that will give you the performance (however you define that) as Isobariks for anything remotely near the price

Dont forget the 'Briks little brother - Kabers. I have a set and think they are great. A decent pair can be had for £5-600.

Much under rated speakers IMHO.

What in particular is it about the isabariks that you like. (bass extention, mid range etc) or don't like.

There are many things that can be improved about the isobariks (IMO) but if YOU like the overall sound balance and think they are the perfect speaker then there are few things that can compete.

It depends how much you are prepared to invest and what you will use to drive the speakers.

For example I use Totem mani-2's which are stand mounted, ported, isobariks. They sound excellent and have the expected bass extension together with a pure sounding mid range. There are 2 provisos
1) They are a little hard to drive. I have a 250 mk2 which is up to it but it would be a struggle for a lower output amp in the Naim range
2) They ain't cheap!!

Mats,

I had Isos for over 10 years and thought I'd never change. However, a 2nd hand pair of DBLs came up and I never looked back. I sold my briks to a friend and still enjoy listening to them at his house, the best of both worlds I guess.
