Generation X

Some of my favorite albums were made in the late 60's and early 70's (The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, to name a very few), a decade before I was old enough to appreciate music and yet I have discovered them as an adult. Why? Because they stand out as seminal albums/groups/singers, writers, etc for sure but my question is this; What will the generation that comes next discover from this musical era, what seminal albums will they track down from the 00's if any? What classic, timeless music are we generating now for future generations to discover and treasure? If you can think of any please list them as you would ease the worried mind of a music lover.

Does nostalgia mean that the any of the music we are currently listening too could be a future classic for the generations to come?

Of course I meant to say...
