Interesting record shops in North London

Today after seeing a mention in my local paper, The Hornsey and Crouch Journal, I popped in to a a newly opened
CD shop at the north end of Archway Rd.
Alternative Music shop 267 Archway Rd, London,

Specializes in world music + some folk, e.g. Smithsonian recordings. CD's 10 quid, which is
probably cheaper than on Oxford St for specialist music. Yes we can all buy music online but it's in our interest if shops such as these flourish. I/We don't buy our music at supermarkets.

If you like underground experimental music I would suggest walking up the road and popping into Sound 323 and Second Layer records, both at 323 Archway Road. Fantastic for Avant Garde and Free jazz, Modern Composition, Noise, Improvisational Music and other underground music.

Or if you want the best IMO secondhand and graded vinyl go to Flash Back records in Crouch Hill and Essex Road, Islington.
