50 Cents

I am buying this album tomorrow.
Because I like P.I.M.P.
I know this is rubbish, but I like it, I like the tune and I like the attitude.
I'll tell you how I got on.

Gary, please buy a pair of Reebok G Units and a doo-rag and post a pic of you wearing both. Please?
Also, it's not "Fifty Cent" but Fittycen' said very fast.

Those shoes actually look pretty slick.
Too bad they're affiliated with a complete tosser.

PS hey Mekon, I just found out that Jean Grae was actually What What of Herbaliser fame. Are her albums good???

I think garyi should get a really baggy FuBu shell suit with PLAYA written on the back in huge gold letters.
The only shoe worth even thinking about is the Vans Geoff Rowley XLT as its simply the best skate shoe ever.

Is Gary taking up sk8ing too? And I thought the old guy with the train set and girl problems was entertaining...

No, he needs REPRAZENT tatooed in germanic font across his chest.
Or he could go the whole hog and get a tucked in Glock tatooed on his waistline and some tears below his left eye. The number of which should correspond to the number of times he's upgraded his stereo.

I don't have any Herbaliser, so I didn't know that, but I do like Jean Grae's stuff. Haven't heard the album yet, but it's on my wants list. The tracks she did with Mr Lif were the best ones on his debut. However, I don't have the latest Buck 65 album, the Themselves remix album, Mike Ladd's collab with Vijay Iyer (I hope this is coming out on vinyl), or Aesop Rock's latest. I am starting to hope that Santa has been keeping up with hiphopinfinity.

Herbaliser are excellent, I have all their stuff.
By attitude I was of course refeering to his confidence not his PIMP like status if you get me.
I am proud to say I never had a shell suit moment, but there is always time.
I'm off to find it now

Well, if you were to buy Attack of The Attacking Things by Jean Grae, that might just make up for it.

Such close-minded people, honestly!
Gary rejoice. The 50 cent album is great. His delivery is unique and the beats are good. A lot of good tracks but some filler also. As they say, "Spin that shit."

A little known fact, but before Decimalization, 50 Cent was known as Ten Bob.

I've got this Album - I like it especially 'In Da Club'. Nice.

I have the album and it is not too bad. Still not on par with Dre and Em but not bad.
I saw on tv the other day that in an interview recently he was a real top bloke and did not come accross as too much of a gansta. Apparently it's his 30 odd stong entourage that make him seem like a hardend gangsta.
I was reading this morning that one of them beat a fan up and now that fan is suing 50c for some obscene amount of cash (16m USD??)

stevie d: "Apparently it's his 30 odd stong entourage that make him seem like a hardend gangsta."
He's been shot and stabbed a dozen or so times (without his entourage anywhere near the scene), he talks smack circa 1986 violent rap battles, he was investigated for the killing of legend Jam Master Jay, and he was arrested numerous times for selling rock as a teen. Needless to say, he's 100% garbage.
Please guys- stop supporting these sellouts and the ugly stereotypes they prostitute.

Apologies. The CD now resides in the Girlf's car where she can chuck it about as much as she likes. It will not touch my CD5 again. Well after CDs find their way into her car they generally don't come out in any fit state anyway.
From now on my gangsta rappers of choice will be Blazin Squad. Never before in my life have I seen such mean looking 15 year olds!
