In the £6000 "super tent" area the loos were washed away last night.
My lad's there although we have not heard a peep out of him.(not in a £6000 tent though).

Don't! You know how sensitive Adam is to undercurrents on His fora and forums. I'm surprised he has ignition on his bike. You'd think he'd draw the line at a tyre-driven dynamo and pedal power just to be on the safe side. But perhaps the Mendips are a bit too much for him?

Elder daughter went again working - I futilely told her to take wellies because of last w/e sun - current correct forecast.
I went to the first Pilton Pop Festival, (as I lived in real uncocked up Glastonbury then) and the 7th - free - it was nice - space in fields - I heard no sounds/saw no bands, as I was doing better things with my time.

Our lad once went to a pop festival in darkest Cornwall in tragically similar weather conditions. When we collected him at the gate, a week later, he exhibited a strange baked-on, red, cracked-mud appearance in common with all the other festival goers and certain tribesmen. We were tempted to leave him there! The vast clouds of red dust in the air could be seen for miles and must have made the happy but tired throng ideal candidates for a Martian trip. If they survived a pop festival, they could survive anything. Never underestimate the resourcefulness of youth in a crisis!

Bathtime lads & lassies, innit:
Fritz Von I've just heard that new proposals in UK are considering biking paramendics to homes for quick responce. I just wonder if the brainless Whitehall non-faces as well as considering the extra costs (not savings) have considered who will look after the bike outside, protecting it from local yobs & Junkies etc ?
