Hi rich46, sorry its taken a few days to get back to the forum.

Bearsville is the record label. A country/alt/rock/blues country label of the seventies. Started by Albert Grossman if I remember, and closed in the mid eighties. Lots of good stuff on it. Bobby Charles recorded one album with them called 'Bobby Charles' which contained such classics as 'Small town talk' and 'He's got all the whisky' ( covered by the late great John Martyn on the 'Church with No Bell' lp). This was after he got involved with the Band having been invited to play at 'The Last Waltz' and Rick Danko.

The album was recently issued/reissued on CD so you should be able to find it.

hope that helps
