Speakers for n-Vi ?

Although this isn't out yet - apart from the obvious n-Sat system, are there any other good combinations. Rega springs to mind but they dont have a centre option anymore.

Just thinking ahead as if its a good un then i'll be very tempted.

C1 System

Mine works well with a Rotel amp/dvd player, I imagine it would with the n-Vi as well.

One brand I will try it with will be the M&K K series and Xenon series. These sub/sat systems aren't as musical as something like an n-Sat system, but the satellites are far smaller (the smallest is Bose-like) and their surround performance is impeccable. The only query in my head is the 4-ohm load of the satellites so I wonder whether the power requirements might be a bit much. Should be fun though...

Cheers Guys. Just browsing the Rega site and they have a new 'R' Centre.

Has someone tried Proacs Response Hexa System?

http://www.proac-loudspeakers.com/hexasys.php

How is it compared to Naims n-System?

Happy listening

Yes as centre & surround. For fronts Ref 8 Signature and big proac sub.

They are intergrate extremely well together, plus I needed them all made to match in light oak.
I can't say what they sound like compared to N sats, as I've not done a comparison. The N sats are substantially bigger though, as is the N sub compared to the Hexa sub.
The proac system is extremely neat, compact and sounds superb in my setup.

Hi

I'd like to put foward the Totem Dreamcatchers, I use the center and rears myself along side a pair of Totem signature 1's for main stereo.

Dreamcatcher 5.1

I think the Totem range in general works very well with Naim electronics.

Me too. I use Bryston amplification and Totem Model 1 Signature speakers for my home theatre.

Hmmm, I'm a fan of Totem speakers, but I wonder if their 4-ohm load may stress the system a bit. I know the traditional Naim amps handle 4-ohm loads easily, but these are class T amps. Switching amps don't cope as well with odd impedances (switching amps are best with steady state loads). We'll have to see when the n-Vi comes out. I have to say I'm very very interested in this box of tricks and I'd love it to work with things like the Totems and Dynaudios. It's already brilliant with the n-Sats, but they're a touch large for some people.

I'm running 3xK17s & 2xK4s at the moment with an AV2, V175 and 150. They are extremely good indeed.

I needed some small speakers to fit in with my plasma and they were miles ahead of anything else I heard of a similar size.

As Frank said, they aren't the most musical but for surround they are superb.
