We Want Your System!

Posted by: Richard Dane on 26 November 2003

For our next newsletter we would like to feature a few real-life all-Naim systems. We are looking for volunteers to step forward, the only requirements being that the system is all-Naim (cassette decks, CDR machines etc.. notwithstanding) and that you live within reasonable distance of London.

If you're up for it, send us an e-mail at Naim with details of your system, a picture if possible, and your address. We'll then be in touch...

Dev, your Naim is already in the hat.....

Reading your grovelling postings to Richard Dane trying to get yourselves pictured in the next newsletter, reminds me of the ultimate put down penned by Tanais Fox to Marco.....you are publicity seeking sluts.

Regards

Mick ... who does not wish to appear in the next edition, however I could be persuaded if the price was right. But I don't come cheap.

I'll let you in on a secret mate - it rains here sometimes, too. Last couple of days it pissed down.

There - that should keep the aucklanders at bay for another year or two - they won't migrate south if they think the weather's as wet here as up there. Besides, the power's better down here, so the systems sound better... and all those fine sauv blancs and chards don't have as far to travel! Wink

I agree with Mick. All this "Pick Me! Pick Me!" is getting a little undignified.

I'll do it for £10 more than Mick is charging. Just to be classy like.

Why don't you come to Germany? Better make it soon though, we are sinking fast.

As Richard Dane's official envoy, it would be a pleasure.

It hardly needs saying you’d be very welcome of course.

Perhaps it might be worth a visit after the Ergo III’s are up and running...

..once I get around to building them that is!

No firm decison made yet for the first feature. Lots of great systems and plenty of enthusiasm which is really wonderful - thanks to everybody who has responded so far!

I have (I believe) the full classic Olive front system with active SBLs (and an LP12 - natch). I live in London,my house is pretty, but the sound in the living room is so awful that I keep the Naim in a pokey room upstairs. However, as no-one can hear it in a newsletter I'd bring it downstairs. Wink
