New Pink Floyd DVDs

For those interested, saw the two forthcoming PF DVDs over the weekend.
1. Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii - The Director's Cut . This features a completely new version of the old 72 warhorse. There is no extra footage of Ye Olde Floyde, in fact there are fewer shots of them and more of statues, bubbling lava and what not, along with some clips of planets. The music and interviews are exactly tthe same but the intro piece is completely different.
Extras you get include: the original version of the movie, complete; a 25 minute interview with director Adrian Maben; outake footage (B&W) filmed in Paris in '71; photo and poster galleruies; bootlegs sleeve gallery; a history of Pompeii; and lyrics. Not a bad package, with excellent picture and sound quality, as you might expect.
2 Classic Albums - Dark Side Of The Moon This is basically the programme shown earlier this year on BBC2 with an extra 35 minutes tacked on.
Both are out next month I think. "Pulse" and "Delicate Sound Of Thunder" (yawn) are being worked on by Dave G. The prospect oof a Led Zep-style archaeology job remains distant, I'm afraid.
