Tony Blair to round out his CV

Apparently he's off to promote peace in the Middle East - now that he's finished promoting war there...

According to a report on BBC World Service, about the proposed job for Blair as a peace envoy in the Middle East, he was refered to by one Arab expert as the third most hated man by non-Jewish Middle Eastern people after GW Bush, and The Israeli Prime Minister.
To get anywhere he is going to have to produce miracles! Who is paying his salary? It will be wasted, though as one leading Labour Party Member said this morning on the BBC Domestic Service [Today Programme on Radio Four], she doubted that he could make things worse than they already are.
He should get off the gravy train now methinks. Let someone with some respect from all sides try to help move things forward if this is possible. The idea of his being paid to atempt this is preposterous in my view.

Yes, the hideous insensitivity of this appointment beggars belief - Blair is completely clueless about the Middle East - he does not even begin to understand the problem so how on earth will he find a solution? He thinks getting handouts for the Palestinians is better than forcing Israel to obey International law and the UN. He has more chance of seeing tits on a fish.

I think Blair is perect for the job, massive massive income and expenses, lots of travel for him & her, and no delivery.
He also qualified for the job, as the house he bought in Londons Connaught Square W2, is like living in the middle east, there are so many tea cloths and fan belts walking the streets.
The estate agents must have seen them comming.
Did any one really believe that Tony Blair after 10 years plus of spin and media manipulation would settle for an ordinary MP's salary and be expected to do some real work for his constituency, Nah.

The scary thing is that he seems to believe his own bs. With an ego that size he must think sainthood is assured in due course.

Hardly veiled though is it?
I thought Bernard Manning died last week. Crap like that really lowers the tone.

I was reading a magazine article today which showed that if the criteria used to convict Ribbentrop after ww2 was applied to Tony B Liar then said Bliar would be found guilty and hanged.
