Bringing a smile to my face

Was tinkering around with my system yesterday and wasn't to happy with my slightly wobbly speakers, the floor under the carpet appears to be not very flat and I could get the spikes right.

So I decide I will go for the screws into the floor boards and spikes into screws. So I now have speakers that are very level, very stable, and the sound has changed alot. Lots more detail and control, bass is more subdued but much more controlled, soundstage has really opened up.

And the cost, 20 miuntes with a drill, screwdriver, spirit level and 8 screws.

What an improvement!
