Anybody has any idea whether the Roksan Tabriz is directly replaceable by the aro on a Xerxes turntable?
Thanks.

The arms aren't interchangeable, the ARO is shorter. The Rega's spindle-to-center-of-vertical-pivot distance is 222.8mm while the corresponding dimension for the ARO is 212.5mm. If you've got an original Xerxes and not an Xerxes X you'll need an entire new top deck. I'm not sure if Roksan still sells spares for the original Xerxes, you'd have to call them. An alternative might be to fill the Rega mounting hole with a wood or MDF plug and have the top deck redrilled for the ARO.

There are a couple of Xerxes top plates going on Ebay at the moment - one for Rega, one for Linn.
