Fraim

Does anybody has any experience with setting up 9 standard fraim v ertically? Including the base, that would be 10 layers. I know the manual says the max stacks are 7 layers but I have a space problem and have small children. Particularly concern about the top layer where the glass is just resting on 3 ball bearings. Any slight push and the whole thing will topple.

The equipment layout:

CDS II
52
Supercap
NAT02 SNAXO
XPS
Supercap
4 Pack

I presume you're doing it in 2 racks as Naim stipulate a maximum of 6 shelves high for std shelf or 2 extended shelves (avoids expensive accidents)

Sorry I jumped in a bit quick and missed your justification. I'd still be wary though. In the same boat myself and Ive also got the LP12/prefix hicap/armageddon /cassette to acomodate. How high is a 13 shelf Fraim eek

Kc consider lower height side by side, we will also have in the next couple if weeks a"KID KIT" which consists of 3 rings which are atteched to the underside of the glass and sit above the ball, so no roll!!

We will also have some wooden floor protectors. Cd storage system and an AV unit to include centre channel isolation.

Yes Paul, but when are we going to have the ultimate Naim Accessory? The Naim sofa! Complete with ball protectors!

13 shelves are definitely too high. With mine stacked vertically, its about 5ft with CDS II on the top shelf.

I think the "Kid Kit" is definitely a very good idea particularly with 14 month old running around and all those lights are definitely interesting attractions. How could I get those kits? I live in Singapore.
