"Naim fans are set for the biggest surprise they've had in their lives"

What's that then? Can't be the new pre amp, AV kit, or a SACD/DVD player etc as no one would think anything like that would be a 'surprise', or is it just that David Price think Naimies are stuck in 1980?

Well it may not new technology for others... I think NA is going thru some kind major product line overhaul in the coming 12 months.

New pre-amp, SBL replacement and perhaps CDS3 which may support more than just audio CD format. New speakers design as seen in the Intro II, Credo, allae and NBL.
The product roadmap is probably what he refers to as interesting for current Naim users.

Good!

I for one am looking forward to hearing what Naim can do with some of the new formats.

If the kit is as good as the AV we heard at bbq then its going to be an exciting year.

It's nice to see a company wait and spend a bit of time waiting to get things right rather than just chuck stuff out to keep up with the latest fads

Cheers

Naim are about to break into the acoustic improvement market. Having seen the prototypes at the BBQ last year, they can also been seen in the picture in the demo room.

Those large wooden ramps in the corner with folded carpet on them are going public!

Colour choices are in both harmonious (to fit in with your decor) and jazzy (those horrid dayglo colours).

You just wait and see!

...or... a Naim turntable.
