Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash Winter UK Tour

Posted by: The mole man on 01 November 2007

Hi naim forumites!

Apologies for the extreme short notice here.

Fronted by the original songwriter, bass player, vocalist and creative
force of the band Wishbone Ash, Martin Turner, the band promote their "New Live Dates
Volume Two".

The legendary twin guitar melodic rockers Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash
playing the classic early years of Ash from 'Argus', 'Pilgrimage', to
'Wishbone 4' and 'There's The Rub!'

I've seen them twice before and can highly recommend them to anyone wanting to hear the early WA material played and sang as per the original recordings.

As Pete Drummond used to say, "get out of those bath chairs and get down to see them!"

Thanks very much for the info. I will be getting my tickets for the Leeds gig. Have you heard Martin's latest band, any good?

Hi Jim,

Yes, the Whetstone gig last Saturday was the third time I have seen them in the last two years (Martin formed the current band back in 2005). Okay, maybe I am biaised but I truly though that MTWA topped the other two gigs by them I've attended by quite some way. Martin is singing and playing right at the top of his game currently, so it's a very strong recommendation from me. Be sure to post your thoughts after you see them.

Best regards,
Mole Man
