SNAPS WITH NAXO 2.4

IVE JUST GONE ACTIVE WITH 62/HICAPX2/NAXO/140X2/IBLS. I WOULD LIKE MORE BASS FROM MY SYSTEM SO I AM THINKING OF CHANGING PREAMP TO EITHER 72 OR GO FOR THE 102.IF I BUY A 102 I WOULD NEED TO SELL A HICAP TO FINANCE THIS MOVE AND REPLACE IT WITH A SNAPS.SO I WOULD LIKE YOUR VIEWS ON WILL A SNAPS(OLD STYLE) POWER A NAXO. IF SO WHICH OF THESE TWO SYSTEMS DO YOU THINK WOULD SOUND BETTER AND WHY?

HI MARK IVE ADJUSTED THE CERAMIC POTS AND THE SPEAKERS ARE RIGHT UP AGAINST THE WALL. BUT IM STILL LOOKING FOR A BIT MORE BASS THATS WHY IM LOOKING AT CHANGING PREAMPS THANKS FOR THE ADVICE.

i would still like to hear your thoughts on my next ugrade suggestions re- which is the best and why 102-hicap/snaps-naxo/140x2/ibls or 72-hicap/naxo-hicap/140x2/ibls.and can anyone tell me if and old stlye snaps will power a naxo2.4

Surely the Naxo 2/4 was designed to work with a Snaps. Doesn't the Naxo predate the Hicap?

im not sure on both counts thats why im asking for info so i then know for sure what my best options are.

Hi
Naxo2/4 went into olive(uptp time supercap appeared) so many only have dual power sockets.
Alternative is getting the snaps dual railed--is easy peasy--need a 5 pin socket and a soldering iron.
Would recommend changing the large cap too on all snaps as all are very old.A recapped dual railed snaps sounds surprisingly good
