NAC-52 Options

Have recently become the proud owner of a NAC52 #1443XX was wondering what options are available for this unit.

Aside from the moving coil and moving magnet boards for the input one.

I was installing the NA523K boards and noticed optional positions for input and output for 5 & 6.

Can anybody throw light on these options.

Also what changes have been made to the 52 in the last 4 years.....

Well it has been discontinued for a start

There were attenuable input boards. I think for the overpowered high-level outputs from the early cd player generation (pre-naim player aera).

I think its just the software to run the 'useless' flash remote... costs around £1000 to do, and doesn't offer any real sonic improvement, but at least you would be content in knowing that the flash stored somewhere (many are) COULD operate the 52...
