Two interesting problems.

Wonder if anyone has experiences or advice to share ? I am trying to localise a problem in my system which I have described in an earlier post (http://forums.naim-audio.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=67019385&f=48019385&m=4211960362) and have (so far) found two 'funnies.'
1. The mid-range 'buzz' which I am experiencing is not speaker dependent, switching outputs on my 250 moves the problem to the other speaker.
With the CD on "repeat" over a ca 2 second part of a track on which the buzz is clear, having turned off the power amp (a ca 5 year old 250) the buzz dissappears; as does the music a few seconds later . A power amp problem ???
Since I can only (easily) swap input channels prior to my 82 or after the 250, the problem could also be 82/hi-cap related. Suggestions ?
2. With either one of the CD (Karik) outputs removed, turning the balance so that the 'live' channel goes quiet and turning up the volume brings up quite audiable sound on the 'dead' channel. No such problems with the LP12. Clearly crosstalk in the CD is not going to benefit the sound at all. Anyone with a Karik out there produce a similar effect ?
