Some of you may be interested to know that Brian Wilson has added some dates to this summer's European tour (including Glasgow 16th July). Tickets are on sale now. Further info from Brian Wilson Website.

Tom

Thanks for this. Have booked two tickets for Brighton, at an eye-watering £50 per ticket plus £12 "booking fee". It's robbery, I know, but what can you do?

Yes it's an expensive night out to take the wife and son who'll probably want a tee shirt and programme as well. No point in moaning about the price I suppose. If you want to go, you pay up. Otherwise you don't. Tickets for the Stones a while back were over a hundred quid for goodness sake. At least with Brian Wilson you hear what you're paying for i.e. just about the best live band I've ever heard.

Incidentally the booking fee for Glasgow was "only" £5 per ticket.

I was told that my tickets would be "hard" (ie "souvenir") style tickets. I'm not sure whether that accounted for the cost, or was intended to soften the blow!

I would love to go, but the Brighton gig is only 4 days after the baby is due, so I will have to miss it. Maybe next time.
FWIW, Cream are reforming for 3 nights only ever playing the Royal Albert Hall 2, 3 & 4th May, but tickets are already being exchanged on ebay for £800+. I have a contact at Mean Fiddler, but missed out because they have already handed out what they had and can't go back for more. Must be quicker next time and read the press!!! Frown

I've got the stereo mix of Pet Sounds blasting away (from the Pet Sounds Sessions box) and, suddenly, £112 for two tickets for Brian Wilson doesn't seem too bad after all. Can't wait!
