any golfers out there?

Yes. I used to me a member at Camberley Heath Golf Club in Surrey - but no longer. Now a member at Cromer Golf Club here in Sydney.

I played golf for a few holes with some friends last year.

It had looked like such an easy game until then...

Played in a corporate golf day in the Barossa Valley just yesterday, as a matter of fact. It was an Ambrose competition, and my team shot 10 under gross, 19 under net - and we came second by a shot!

In my uni days I used to play a ridiculous amount. I was deeply addicted to the game. Now it's just the occasional hit.

I play, although not very well. I've just started back after not playing for many years.

Once a week - even tomorrow when the bunkers will be like brick!

I'm useless at golf. Still play the occasional round to remind myself that I'm useless.

I get out a few times a year. Sadly I find enthusiasm is a poor substitute for ability!
