I have heard the CDS2 but not the CD12. My Naim dealer says that the CDS2 is better because the Linn is detailed but still a little flat. When he says this, he is usually refering to Pace rhythm and timing, and also the equipment's ability to pitch notes accurately, especially the harmonic interplay between them. You have not given us YOUR verdict here!
when I heard the CDS 2 I could not imagine there being a better player. I have heard the Ikemi and I was not that impressed, so more of the same for me won't "cut the mustard."
Whilst I acknowledge alternatives to Naim amps, such as Densen or Rega, in terms of sonic philosophy, nothing can touch a Naim CD player at a given price.

Hi Steven

I don't know - I have not heard the CD12.

My invitation says that the KOMRI is a no compromise high performance full range monitor loudspeaker. Couple that with many thousands of pounds worth of amplification and together they could be the dogs proverbials.

The last time I heard a full Linn system was in an airport lounge about nine months ago and I quickly went back in to the main area to watch the football instead.

I know that I want a CDSII.
