I was looking for small speakers as surrounds that could go on bookshelves, and saw the Mordaunt Short 302 at Richer Sounds which looked okay, but I wondered what else you lot out there use. I have a nice Mission centre and a big sub-woofer already.
Any suggestions? Don't want to pay more than £100 pair

I would always try to go for speakers from the same manufacturer, and same range. Miss-matched speakers often do funny things IME.

I use Mordaunt Short 304 (usually centre speakers) as surrounds, with SBLs as front. Obviously not matching but nonetheless very satisfying. They are wall mounted and outperform my previously used Acoustic Energy Aelite One (much better speakers) standing tilted on the floor. IMO the positioning is more important than the quality of the surround speakers.

I second djftw: all speakers from the same manufacturer and same range is best!
If you need to have tiny ones, these round Gallo-speakers are the smallest I have seen (besides Bose ). They have different mounts too.

However I have no idea how they sound?
