I wouldn't say no to one of these either - see the Alfa pr0n thread for a 'real-life' shot I took a couple of weeks ago.

Ah, as above, Howard.

For the odd trans-continental dash to visit Naim distributors, I always rather fancied taking one of these...

I have always been partial to the classic styling and sheer power of the 6.3
When I saw and heard this thing thundering around the track at the Barcelona GP I got weak in the knees.

Or either one of these. One for daytime to the beach, one for night time on the town.

And I am surprised no one has mentioned this

I am not a great photographer but I was impressed with the view from behind. This is angle most people view it from anyway (provided they don't blink.)

Marc,
find a pic of your dream car on the 'net, copy the URL, then click on the "Display Image" icon. Then paste the URL into the box provided. Once you Post, hey presto, it should link to the image you selected.

Besides the Alfa 8c I like the Maseratie as well.
And for an american car I like the Lincoln from the early sixties too:

If we're talking Dream Cars then certainly the McLaren F1 LM deserves a mention.

What model Aston was that John, if indeed it was an Aston?

There were three that I posted - the first two were an AMV8 Vantage Volante ragtop and next to it a DB9 convertible (i think) that I saw at a car show in Palm Beach and the next was what I think they are calling AMV10 (found on the web)
And what is that beauty - a Bizzarini?
Posted on: 21 July 2009 by John M
And here is one you rarely get to see in the flesh

Posted on: 21 July 2009 by BigH47
Yes John a Bizzarini. I saw the P3 or 4? actually racing when new.

The first Ferrari I saw on the road (they where very uncommon here in Sweden in the 1970's) was a Daytona. As it was snowing I managed to pass it in my dad's Passat...
I would go for a second hand F1 car if I happened to be rich. And an Elise for the open road plus a Miura as a looker in the living room.
