mmmm I'll keep my eyes peeled for a McLaren on the roads in LA. I'm sure if I spend some time on Rodeo Drive or go to my parents in Laguna I'm sure to see one. I love that color.

This isn't too shabby either:-

I'm sure the technology is state of the art but I've got to say I'm disappointed with the looks. Far too much like a Ferrari 360 - nothing wrong with that but I'm sure McLaren would not want their cars to be "mistaken" for those from the Scuderia. Maybe that's why they chose such a shockingly bad colour ...

Cheers

Unfortunately when you feed the computer with essentially the same data, a very similar answer emerges.
It doesn't excuse that colour though.

I remember an article in Performance Car circa 1992 where they had taken black & white pictures of about 20 production saloon cars from all the usual suspects. I can't remember if they blanked out the badges but it was very difficult to pick the makes then. Luckily for us the manufacturers seem to have made more recent models a bit more memorable. Mr Dennis take note.

Ah back to the days of the Bruce and Denny shows.

If we are going to talk about the new Mac and the new Merc, it's only fair we talk about this too....

If I had a time machine, a CanAm race would be high priority!

On some of the now defunct circuits like Riverside CA.

Neither the beemer or lambo do anything to excite me. I just like a simple 911.
Posted on: 18 September 2009 by BigH47
I agree Classic simplicity, (on the outside). No need to look like a drug dealer, Football(soccer) player or Wag.

I note with the Lambo not a re-invention, still Batman should like it.

What's that the result of a Chav in an Aston factory, maybe it should have pink wheels?

I guess it doesn't have the speed or handling characteristics to avoid blows from the ugly stick. Big Grin

Looks like a tarty (spoilt) 911 to me.

On second look you may be right, I was going by the shape of the rear lights, it doesn't look any better as a Porsche though.

Don't need to drive, don't do the school run but would reckon this to be well worth the price just to see the expressions upon the faces of school run mums as one of these roll by Big Grin

Nah you just park wherever you like if any one gets in your way, DRIVE OVER THEM! Winker

Radio and the fire extinguisher wouldn't last long around here.

Having sat in one recently I would suggest parking and security with a 50-cal machine gun on the rear mount would deter the most rabid clamper or hoody.
