Yello 'heads up'

Posted by: Steve2701 on 01 November 2010

I know a fair few on here like 'Touch' by yello, but I was finally enticed to buy their special edition of it with a bonus DVD of the album made as a 'virtual concert' as part of electronic beats / T-mobile collaboration.
Well the DVD works fine, and I would love to go see this at the rumoured 'Vegas do' (Caesars 2012 or 2015?) but I was very nicely surprised by a 20 minute bonus on the end of Touch where they have re-visited some old tracks and other new material. These are not 'remasters' but a complete re visit, and to me they are some of the best produced tracks I now have in my collection. Non are long, but all of them just suck you straight into the music. If your a fan, and really want to give your system a wringing out / find out just what it can do then this is a great way to go.
I don't think there are many of these left, mine came from an 'Amazon' re-seller, but this one is going to be well guarded.

Thanks for this Steve - copy duly ordered, although I was torn about whether to order one at £14 or the same one from an Amazon seller in Germany at £44...
