NAIT 5 / NAP 140

Now that I have my nice new 135's I have a 'spare' 140 (it will go into a second system in a couple of years time when I buy a new house.

My brother bought a NAIT5 after listening to my system and I wondered (not having the opportunity to have a look) if 1. you can link a 140 onto a NAIT5 and 2. whether it is worth the bother ?

Thanks, Andrew

1) You Can.
2) Might be.

If you use the 140 then there's no longer any AC going into the Nait 5. Result a quieter interior for the Pre-amp part of the Nait. The 140 has more guts. I have a HiCap with my Nait 5 and when I've sorted the Source upgrades a 140 (or 180) is an upgrade path I've considered.

Tell me about the improvements you heard on moving from a straight Nait 5 to one with a Hicap on it?

Do you really think it was worth the cash?
