As far as I can tell DB has a picture of himself on every album he's ever done - True? Anyone else this vain?

Not everyone else is as handsome as Dave!...

Well he wasn't on the cover of Peter and the Wolf or Buddha of Suburbia, plus Reality was more of a drawing.

I was going to say the best Bowie albums have actual photos of him on the cover, but then where do you place Ziggy Stardust, plus the much maligned Labyrinth OST.

My favorite Bowie cover is the live version of "Heroes" by Blondie with Robert Fripp. It's on the B side of Atomic 12" (which I am currently failing to find).

"Outside" is a bit of a blur, but then the booklet is features a whole cast of Bowies - is that more or less vain?...a groovy album, though, IMHO, the odd bit of extraneous piano notwithstanding.

So many great cover shots to choose from...I think the ones from "Earthling", "Station to Station" and "Heathen" are high up on my list...

There's also another cracking version, again with RF replaying his original lines, on the KC "Heavy ConstruKCtion" live set.
