Crunch time - spending money like no tomorrow
Posted by: Ancipital on 07 January 2003
It's come to the crunch now where I spend some of my saved up money, after toying with various decisions like cutting the cost of my mortgage, buying a new crotch rocket (sports bike) and buying the starting blocks of a home cinema set-up, I've finally made a choice...
Going for the home cinema stuff.
Currently got on order one AV2, one NAP175 (using my Nait2 for the front speakers).
On Friday going to demo some B&W speakers for the rear and centre and a subwoofer from a company I can't remember.
Hopefully will get it all installed on Monday depending on whether Naim have completed the burn-in tests and sent out the equipment by Friday - actually didn't know Naim done 4 day burn-in tests.
All I need to do is to max out my Visa on everything else which is going to be painful but at least I get a few Nectar points
Now all I need to do is wait - though if I don't get it all installed by Monday, will have to wait a month for the time to get it done :-/
Thinking about it, I'll buy the bike as well
Steve.
