I quite like this, particularly when I turn up the volume on my PCs $29.99 speakers.

I listened to a sample of the CD version and it does not grab me in the same way.

This is a question to fans of KK - which CD should I get if I like this (ie not necessarily the CD with Goby)

I'd start with "Legs to Make You Longer" her second full length album. The most recent, "Dreaming of Revenge" is good, but somewhat confused in its attempt to forge a full-band sound that will appeal to the wider indie-rock scene and still preserve space for her solo guitar work. The approach works here and there, but isn't quite there yet. Maybe next album.

I saw her live about a month ago in Seattle, good show and she was playing through a bad case of bronchitis or laryngitis or something. I'd recommend her live show if you have the chance.

I agree with Daniel. I have all her albums but Legs is the best for me.
