RCA to DIN questions

When I purchased my s/h Nait 3, it came with a Chord Cobra RCA (source) to DIN connector, green color with silver RCA connectors. Also, it came with a "generic", unmarked powder blue RCA (source) to DIN. Unlike the Chord, which is a "single" cable, the powder blue generic is a side by side cable, similar to a piece of NACA5. After acquiring the unit, I bought Chord Cobra RCA (source) to DIN's, green in color, one 4 RCA and one 2 RCA, both have gold RCA connections.
Questions: any comments on the older Chord with silver RCA versus the newer ones with gold RCA ? Just different generations ?
Anyone know what the powder blue/unmarked generic might be ? I have seen reference to NAIM connectors vis a vis Chords currently available in the US, might this be an "original" NAIM connector?
Thanks for any help.
