n-Vi?

A post on the Home Theatre site points out that the n-Vi is no longer shown amongst the Products section here.
Anyone know why?

Really?
That's a remarkably short lifespan for a product that was launched with so much fanfare just a few years ago.
(And I'm not sure why this thread has been moved from the main HiFi Corner site, which rather defeats the point of my opening a new thread there.)

Stu, couldn't Naim have introduced new software?
Or is that what we have to expect in whatever succeeds the n-Vi? Do you have an indication of what that may be?

What software do you use to rip the DVDs?

RipIt on Mac, then I use DVDsONEx to extract just the film from it. Its not converting the format so is pretty nippy at around 30mins a disk to process. I usually land up at a car booty come back with 10 DVDs and start the process on my three macs to have ten films in within a few hours.

Well, unlike the AV2, I can't say I'm sorry to see the n-Vi go to history...The service department probably isn't either !
What I do find interesting is the activeness in which Naim are stripping the AV products from the website () , which hasn't been the case with previous withdrawals...i.e SL2, n-SAT stands, even DBLs are still up there !...Perhaps a raft of products are indeed imminent or....that's that.
