These broadcasts are just getting better and better. Today's Butterfly was astounding. Breathtakingly beautiful, not a dry eye in the house.

They satellite broadcast it into certain move theaters. You have to buy tickets online but one local theater sells tickets right there. Next season has my opera friends all a twitter.
So much nicer and half the price of my seats at top balcony in our opera hall. The camera work is really smooth and you feel like you're right on stage. They're broadcast on Saturday mornings. But replay them on our Public Broadcasting TV stations. The other stations wouldn't dare, just crappy reality programs. UGH!
I've seen Peter Grimmes, Salome, Daughter of the Regiment, and several others.
