Pile of remotes

Having bought an av receiver and dvd player recently my lounge tally went up to seven remote controls so I took the plunge and bought a marantz rc5000i touch screen programmable device.
The trouble is, the surround sound effects buttons on the av receiver (marantz sr4200) seem to have the same IR codes as my 82 pre amp source input codes leading to my having to haul my arse off the sofa when setting up for a film.
Does anyone have a remedy for the above?
