Naim in white

A question to Naim officials:

would it be possible to special-order Naim electronics in white? The picture in a recent thread looked great.

That face plate was not white, it was machined aluminium prior to black anodising, commonly known as "mill finish". Who ever supplies naim with those face plates would probably have the capability to anodise it in clear which has a dull silver look, the problem would be the buttons/dials and the extruded sleeve which would also need to be matching, ie not black. To powder coat such a beautifully machined piece of alloy would be a real shame and you couldn't leave it in mill finish as it will corrode. Bright dipping is another option that would seal the aluminium from oxidation and looks the closest to mill finish. Personally, I would imagine that having to stock anything other than black would be a real pain in the arse for naim, but maybe they would consider a special order.
