Keegan goes, walks out the door, he's not welcome............

Following a positive start to the season, James Milner going to another mid table club (cough)- Jimmy Crankie walks............ NUFC, dear me they have more evictions than Big Brother.

What do you think guys (Sorry Scotty, thought it deserved a thread of it's own)

So it's back to the Circus then?

Nic, what the hell is going on M8?

Regards

Diccus

keegan has a history of walking - it was just a matter of time...IMHO.
the geordie fans must be sick of things and to make matters worse sky are tipping denis wise to take over ! when it rains it pours eh.

Has he walked, was he pushed, or indeed is he still there? The mystery deepens

Definately Maybe?

Of course it does, up here in the North East we love a pantomime and NUFC put on the best. Here is a typical pic of Wise and Ashley rehearsing for the Xmas season

Sorry that was a Little Large Roll Eyes

This was probably the single most entirely predictable event of the football season. It was always going to be difficult, but the minute Wise walked in it became impossible.

The news says he's staying.

Apparently two words made the board decide he was still the right man - Denis Wise.

Take it from a Leeds fan the last man you want is Denis Wise Eek

The only impact Denis Wise made during his stint with Leicester City was on his team mate Callum Davidson during a pre-season tour. Apparently Davidson was in bed when he was attacked by Wise resulting in Davidson's cheek bone being fractured. Wise appears to be a most unpleasant piece of work.

thought my club was a shambles but.........
NUFC are run like a pub team by comparison.

I've been in some dodgy pubs in my time but i think that comparison is wholly unfair on the Pub Football Team across the land Eek

I wouldn't have thought anybody would want DW, but apparently the Newcastle did. I don't even think he's like in Swindon.

I'm happy with Jim at Portman Road even though we may be playing Leeds in League One next year if we don't improve.

looks like king kevs not going back ? sky reckon he will owe the geordies £2m from the contract if he has walked. Eek

Keegan HAS gone! ....First of all let's get the very predictable mackem response out of the way........ Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Ahhh that's better .....now ...what will happen next? ..

....well obviously this news is an absolute godsend to every chav-a-like on tyneside .... ...demos outside the ground - twisted faces thrusting themselves into the lenses of the numerous camera crews who will love it (just love it) when things get nasty (and there must be every chance that things will get very nasty indeed)

Of course Keegan has been treated disgracefully and even prior to joining NUFC we Sunderland fans hated Dennis Wise as much as ...well as much as every other fan in football I guess.

NUFC fans have every reason to protest against Ashley and his cronies but I just know from living in the proximity of many of their less intelligent bretheren that this situation will be blown out of all proportion and that in an effort to prove how much more "passionate" they are than any other fans in the whole world of football (sic) they will go totally OTT and attempt to live up to their own hype and create mayhem around their own stadium/town centre.

or ....mebbe's not and I really am a SMB?
.....we'll soon see.

Not as much as we hated him - though we hated Jimmy Hill even more Smile

lets be honest it was only a matter of time before kk walked.....he has a history of doing just that.
i sympathise with the guy over his treatment at tyneside but at the same time it was inevitable.
he should now stay out of managership IMHO.
Posted on: 05 September 2008 by Bruce Woodhouse
Management has changed at the top level. KK strikes me as somebody who still expects a manager to be a bloke in a big coat running the line with a bag of balls and handing out orange slices at half-time. Goodness me, he even seemed to want to have a say about who was in the squad!

bruce,
i think your right the managers of old are long gone. today a manager is called a coach who has to work with the technical directors so as no one person makes a decision its a joint venture...its the italian way and eventually every club will have to correspond wether we like it or not.
they tend to call it progress and alex ferguson will probably be one of the last of his era im affraid.
