The Rapture- anyone in London see them last night?

Or anywhere else on any other day?
I'm curious, as they'll be here Nov-11 and I wonder how they sound live. Thanks.

No I didn't see them. However, I have rather reassesed things over the last week and the Pretty Girls Make Graves album has become something of a favourite. They tour here in Decemeber I think.
I'm off to see Broken Social Scene next week.

I highly recommend seeing PGMG live. If you like raucous grrrrls, you'll have a good time.
Please post comments on the Broken Social Scene show afterwards. Cheers.

How was it?
I withdrew my Grandaddy plans for tonight, as I'm pinching pennies these days.

My Echoes LP *finally* arrived yesterday. Of course by now my expectations are such that I can only be disappointed.... .
The LP comes with a free CD, called "The House of Jealous Lovers". (Or maybe its a promo CD-rom.)

The last few days The Rapture's hometown writers haven't exactly shown them any love. Here is hipster rag The Village Voice's take on Echoes. The New York Times basically reduced them to playing out something long finished, but perhaps packaged perfectly for mainstream pop audiences (the Green Day of dissonant funk- ouch!).
Their album, to be officially released tomorrow, is already #200 on the Amazon sales charts.
