Unstable, scratchy sound from my new 282/250

Hi,
I've just received my new 282/250 on Saturday. After setting them up, they were playing fine for the first few songs. I left the system powered on and went out. In the evening (around mid-night), while playing one of my favoured CDs, I noticed a scratchy sound, followed by unstable volume from both channels. I changed the CD, and still noticed the problem. I checked all the cables and noticed they were all secured. I wonder if anyone have the same kind of experience? What could have been the cause?
The problem seems to be gone on Sunday. I hope it will not re-appear again. I would like to hear if anyone of you have any suggestion. Thank you!
