Disraeli Gears. Japanese vrs. recent British remasterings.

Some Japanese masterings smooth out the emotional edges of the music they carry. I'm wondering is the Japanese master of DG has its punch or if the recent British two cd remaster is the way to go. I'm not much pulled just by the extra tracks on the British cd per se.

Anyone compare the two?
