AV2 - how will you?

Just pondering on how naim will approach the av2. Will this be a digital device that decodes an AC3 and dts signal, or will it be an analog unit that has a 5.1 channel input? An analog input would require the use of a dvd player that has onboard processing (very common now)and would make the unit compatable with any future non-compressed multi-channel music format (dvd-a, sacd). Also, naim have always said that digital connection is a compromise so maybe analog connection is the way to go. Any futre naim dvd players can then be designed with processors onboard. How will they skin this proverbial cat?
