Using a Stageline with a Hicap and 82

Hi there
Last night I tried to test a Hicap/Stageline with my 82 rather than using the internal phone stage but did not get anywhere as I could not work out how to connect it all up.
Does anyone have experience of doing this
- in terms of sound quality
and
- in terms of cabling

Raphael,

Connect Stageline to HiCap using SNAIC5. Direction ring at Stageline end.

You then need a special cable to connect to the 82 (4-pin to 5-pin).

The 4-pin end connects to whichever socket on the HiCap is described as "one amp only". The other connects into the 82.

Many thanks for your reply - much appreciated. I can now see that it is the lack of a 4-pin to 5-pin cable that had me foxed.
