Tape deck leads for Naim?

Sorry - another dumb question - who's a good bet for decent DIN->4 phono leads for tape decks? I'm using cheapo Maplins £2.99 ones as a stopgap - and this might be another non-helping factor in why MD doesn't sound so hot...

What's this Flashback place like (found through Ebay) or do Chord do good ones? I don't want to spend tonnes of money though as a) I'm always skint and b) it's a bedroom system - any ideas?

I got a nice Chord Co for £60 with my new system. A bit more than £2.99 though!

Eeek! That's what I paid for my Sony MD deck second hand!!! Smile

All the same, the Chord (Chameleon? green anyway) phono->DIN lead on my CDP seems to work well, so maybe it's worth it - even for a bedroom rig. The Maplins' £2.99 ones were a blatant stop gap solution after all Smile

Some [many] years ago I needed, like yourself a lead to connect a micromega cd to my naim pre amp of the time,not haveing the correct lead I contacted Naim and was advised to get in touch with Chord[ who made one up for me at a very reasonable cost] apparently there was some sort of tie up between Naim and Chord [ one of Naims
Top chaps, wife on the board of Chord or some such thing] Was told by P.S. THAT WHILST Naim do not recomend other peoples cables they had tried Chord and given it the thumbs up ,this of course may not still be the case but I found that the Chord lead was very good.

Well, certainly the Chord cable on the CDP (with DINs) seems to have a good synergy with the amp, and I'm going to use my phono-phono Chameleon (with a DIN adaptor) on the tuner... Maybe getting 2 DINS from Chord would be worth looking into then?

I have a flashack tape to din cable, and it's great. Ring the guy up, he is super nice.
