Tape cable

Posted by: Mats on 10 March 2003

When I want to use Din and RCA contacts for my tape deck, what kind of cable should I look for.
I know that Chord is good, is it the only choice if I want good quality for the signal.

Hej Mats!
Chord will be good enough.
I did solder my own at the time when I used a tape deck. It was just for fun but it actually worked just fine.
If you look in Svalanders catalogue you will find what you need. Have to be a quite thin cable to be able to solder it to the din conector. I think I choose a tonearm cable. I might be wrong here but I do think that some DIYérs use Aro tonearm cable.
Otherwise go for the chord.
