Dear Naim,

Can we have a forum only listening session at the Stereophile show?

Or a beer session in the Hilton's bar?

Either or both.

Rob, or anyone else planning on attending the FMU fair this weekend in New York?

Boys

You'd have to ask the Innovative Audio guys about having a closed session. It's probably a case of will there be enough Forum members there for this to happen? Anyway, I'll be there so make yourself known.

Unfortunately I can't attend both the 'FMU record fair and the Stereophile show. I'm committed to representing "Listener" at the Stereophile event, and two back to back weekend trips to New York would be a bit much. I hope to make it to the WFMU fair in the fall which coincides with the always - fun "Cavestomp!" music festival.

For those who may not have heard about it, the WFMU Record Fair in New York City this weekend has been described by the New York Times as the largest such event in the USA. A fund raiser for perhaps the last true free - form radio station in the country (they webcast here: WFMU home page), it's certainly the hippest record fair you'll ever attend. The last one had 135 dealers, 175 tables, and was attended by over 4000. There isn't a lot of classical music but every other genre you can imagine (and some you can't) will be well represented.
