Home Brew Speakers

I am considering making my own little SBL beater and although i have some clever software for cabinet and driver design I am clueless about internal wiring.

Does anyone know what type of wire is used in Naim speakers and what type of crossovers are used. I don't have Naim speakers my self.

No, not my own drivers, but yes that would be very impressive.

"Anyway, what is to say that the crossover and cable types used in the Naim designs will suit your design?"

- No reason except that i can't find any conventional wisdom on what cable to use between cones and crossover so i'm canvassing opinion.

I am not really worried about experimenting with different drivers (although i haven't decided which to use yet!!) since the software i'm using allows you to model the response of a database of 100's of drivers in almost any (conventional) cabinet design.

Marcus - What type of vdh cable did you use?

that the internal cable is Radio Spares 56 strand (the number escapes me but its the type mentioned in the Naim power amp manuals).

PS A KEF B110 has a bextrene cone.
