It's only an M3 so no loss there then.

I'd put it up for the next Turner prize

Echoes of Alan Partridge! It's actually a better colour scheme than I've seen on some M3's - perhaps BMW should put in their "Individual" catalogue because some berk will actually think it's tasteful!

Well, if you can't keep your own paintbrush in your own pot, you deserve what you get.

Well it probably only cost the car owner loss of his insurance no-claims, which is what happened to me when an uninsured driver ran into me.
I suspect I had less fun losing my no-claims bonus.
Doesn't this all suggest that car wrecker man regards his wife as a possession, like the other bloke's car? Didn't she have any say in this?

Yes, I've always thought it's okay provided no one finds out.

I wish! But as I always say, despair springs eternal...

Well, I guess it DOES take two to tango and it's HER who's supposed to be loyal to her husband, not YOU, but even still.
There's exceptions to every rule though - I can think of ONE instance where I *would* "do" someone else's wife; NO-ONE knows why she married her husband, and he's a leech. Whether it is me or someone else who gets her to see her true beauty and worth remains to be seen, but SOMEONE needs to!

Error - and it won't let me delete it!
Posted on: 26 January 2006 by domfjbrown
Great - so I can't even delete my own posts (quoted instead of edited):
"You have not been given the permission(s) to access this page. You require the following rights to view this page: 'Edit/Delete Own Posts'. For a full list of permissions you have on this community, please visit your MySpace Permissions page."
What's all that happy horsesh** about?

Adam's been playing again.
For the record you've nothing to worry about unless you are discussing other forum members and their spouses.

Even though one may have lost the ability to delete, one may still alter the original and repost...

Dear Nime,
It will not even let me do that much, which is a real trial given my talent for typo-disasters! I have had to be so care to get the one shot right, and not with total success! Oh dear! Fredrik

This variability of edit/deletion permissions is very odd and seems unique to Naim forums.
I find myself able to delete one moment but not the next. It certainly adds an element of excitement to posting. One has to be so careful not to be rude to anybody!
Could Adam be suffering from itchy fingers when he gets bored and just can't leave well alone?
Answers on a postcard please....

There could be an element of truth in this. I too posted something and tried to delete it without success. Luckily it didn't look as bad as the sleeping with the neighbour's wife just to show her that she was a real beauty and married to an undeserving sponger
Maybe it is a feature restricted to the padded cell

Not you as well? Does this mean neighbour's wives are no longer safe from the amorous attentions of serious (music) lovers?

If thate were indeed true, Dear Nime!
No, its the delete function [NOT], which along with the edit function [NOT], is causing me too have to try even harder, with even less success in keeping my standards up. Fancy if you could delete coitus, if it seems a good idea next day. We could all have endless fun without a conscience!
All the bets from Fredrik

I have to ask what a life delete button would do Stephen? Surely I have not pushed you THAT far!

I guess I hadn't *quite* thought that through!
Edit would be nice though; especially where other people's wives are concerned. But then there'd probably be no films or books.

What goes around comes around (popular saying)
Do unto others as you would have done unto you (Bible)
What ye sow, so shall ye reap (Bible)
Thous shalt not commit adulterty (Bible)
Every negative action sows a seed which will one day ripen in the form of suffering (Buddhism)
I dont much care for the Bible but at least all these quotes seem to be saying the same things. I would never sleep with another man's wife nor would I retaliate in the way depicted here - both actions are wrong. Revenge is not a dish best served cold - it's a dish best not served at all.
