I think the Will Young single is pretty good! I don't think his voice is anything special (as is often made out) but it is by far the best/least offensive of the pop/fame bunch. Anyway, I'll get me coat.

Will's ok when compared to Gareth and the woefully bad David Sneddon. However, the only reality pop star worth talking about is lovely Alex from Fame Academy.

She is wonderful and I heart her totally.

Summary spot on I think. Will has a reasonable voice though his first album was awful. Alex has a terrific and unique voice and has an album out now (Which I havn't heard) I suspect it will be mostly FA stuff and we might need to wait before we hear the best from her.

I really cannot stand her voice, I hate the way everything seems to go up at the end! Having heard some of the tracks from her album on the trailers it is full of laughably bad covers. Speaking of FA, did anyone see the wonderful car crash moment when Shania Twain appeared in the first series. How can someone so bad take themselves so seriously.

Sorry,
I have always thought that Will has an excellent, and distinctive, voice. The new single is very good indeed. I would like to hear him sing less "pop", and diversify into other styles.
